Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa will take no part in this weekend's Catalan Grand Prix as his cracked right collarbone has taken longer than predictable to heal. Pedrosa suffered the injury at the French Grand Prix three weeks ago, falling after get in touch with with Marco Simoncelli as they fight over second place at Le Mans.
Simoncelli has been summoned to appear before race way this weekend to talk about that contentious clash, but Pedrosa will not be present at his home race as the bone has not heal as rapidly as had been hoped subsequent a process to insert a titanium plate two weeks ago.
