Andy Murray benefit from US Open preparation

Andy Murray enjoyed the ideal preparation for the US Open after settle the Western Southern Open crown in Cincinnati. Murray inflicts a second defeat of the period on world number one Novak Djokovic to claim the title.

He added on Sky Sports 4:This court is very similar to the one in New York and it's good to know I am playing well here in similar conditions and I hope I am going to have a good one.
Murray was planned to fly to New York tonight but confess inclement weather may force a change of plan.I am going to take tomorrow off, we are meant to be leaving tonight but the weather in New York is really bad so we may have to hang around here.If the flight is cancelled we may drive, have a little road trip. I don't mind heavy. For the Davis Cup I drove to Scotland (from London) in five hours!
