Boxing: Amir Khan says Juan Manuel Marquez decline to fight him

Amir Khan, who is currently the unified World Boxing Association Super and International Boxing Federation Light Welterweight Champion, has hinted that the current World Boxing friendship Super, World Boxing relationship and The Ring lightweight champion, Juan Manuel Marquez, ducked fighting him. Moreover, Khan also point toward that he will beat Marquez if he ever meets him in the ring.

The Mexican Dinamita, Marquez, is considered as the trickiest opponent for Khan’s stable-mate, Manny Pacquiao, who is an eight-division world champion and the current World Boxing Organization World Welterweight Champion yet Khan, is confident of beating the Mexican.

Khan said “We also offered a fight to Marquez a long time ago and he refuses that fight. I think styles make fights, and I think with my style you can put Marquez and put Amir, I think we all know what the decision will be.”

The 24-year-old Bolton’s finest, who holds a record of charming 26 of his 27 professional fights, with 18 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, also comment on his win over the American Zab ‘Super’ Judah which happened on July 23, 2011 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This is Khan’s closing fight at 140 lbs division as he will then move up to the 147 lbs division, where the likes of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd May weather Jnr operate.

Khan’s main aim is to set up a fight with the undefeated American legend, May weather, but his chances of location up a May weather fight doesn’t look bright since Pacquiao may become May weather’s next opponent. Therefore, Khan can look for a Marquez fight if he wants but let’s see what he decides.
